Art Residencies

I love bringing art and creativity into schools and community settings. There is so much that can be gained through a series of workshops combining art, performance, singing and conversation. Play with different mediums and installing an exhibition can be so rewarding for young people who learn their strengths.

Exploring themes of creativity as a place of safety and magic - children built a large wall mobile display that represented joy beauty and home to them. We used clay, driftwood, twine and paints.

I have facilitated a series of workshop around the theme of peace. That included Performance workshop collaboration with Lutrek to discover how peaceful protest can show powerful messages when we stand up together. It was taking place shortly after the Russian invasion on Ukraine in 2022. We also displayed flags made by the Primary School children to send a message of peace to Ukraine.
